The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) has declared the HSC or Class 12 board examination results for the year 2023. The results were announced on May 25, 2023 at 2:00 PM.

A total of 14,57,293 candidates had registered for the HSC examination, out of which 13,78,309 students appeared for the exam. The pass percentage for the HSC examination is 94.22%.
Highest Marks
The highest marks in the HSC examination were secured by a student from the Science stream. The student, who has not been identified, scored 99.90%. The second highest marks were secured by a student from the Commerce stream, who scored 99.80%.
The overall pass percentage for the Science stream is 96.94%, while the pass percentage for the Commerce stream is 93.20%. The pass percentage for the Arts stream is 90.33%.
